Science Leadership Academy Middle School will be hosting our Museum of Current Events during EduCon 2026. Students in 5th and 6th grade classes have been preparing to be informed community members as part of our Community Year theme. They have identified current events that affect our communities and worked in inquiry groups to research them to become experts in these topics.
For this project, students will educate others about their current event by creating a museum exhibit focusing on the who, what, where, when, and why of the topic. Examples of exhibits will include podcasts, websites, scripted multi-part videos, interactive displays, or posters. Students will also be sharing their written reflections on the process of this project
We invite all attendees to EduCon to visit our exhibits in the afternoon of January 30th.
